I have inherited a job that was prewired for a TV over a Fireplace.
I am putting in a New Samsung Q series 75". The customer wants a motorized mount to lower the TV to an acceptable height. It looks like the players are Mantel Mount, Dynamic Mounting and Nexus. Has anyone used any or all. Which one seams to be the way to go? or who do I stay away from?

I was extremely underwhelmed by the Future Automation drop down mount that I sold two summers ago. Much louder than expected, and lots of wiggle as it descended. I was very surprised, as everything else I've ever sold from them has been fantastic. I understand the current design is much better.

I've yet to do one of their drop down mounts, but many a motorized mount and the motors were very quiet. Any chance you received a bad mount/motor? They by far have the best mounts out there.

Would avoid the Mantle Mount, though they are priced accordingly- they’re quite weak.

Went through it with tech support, including putting them on FaceTime and pointing the iPad at the mount- they said that was typical. They changed to the new design a few months after this project.
