That is why you should buy a better TV, have it properly installed and calibrated.

unless its one of those crappy sharp pioneer elites, I think you might need to adjust some settings.

Looked like shit on my Z9D. Horrendous vertical banding when they showed the black sky or the snow in the sky.

Never seen any banding at all on this tv. This feed from Comcast was shit.

A well calibrated OLED or plasma can only help... but it couldn't fix the issue with how the episode was delivered.
I streamed it and for me, it was an advert for UHD Blu-ray players.
I can't imagine how bad the GOT stream would have looked on a 120"+ 4K projector.
