does anyone know the differance between a domino 30 and an ht280. and dont tell me 1000 bucks:}

The Domino 30 is 720P, the HT280 will only do 480P. I dont think the 280 is available anymore. The Domino 30 has been replaced with the Domino 30H which includes HDMI.

Like sam said, the domino 30 has a native rate of 720p(used to be HD2 and is now HD2+). The ht280 however uses the same TI chipset that the domino 20H uses which is the matterhorn chip that is 1024x576. They will both accept 720p and 1080i and convert to native rate. The biggest differences between the dom 20H and the ht280 is probably the case they are housed in and the throw ratio.
