A. Those guys don't know enough not to put LPs out in the sun.

B. When is that storm hitting? Isn't it happening right now?
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Why do I get the impression that everything pictured smells like a combo of mildew and cat piss?

I think I saw a couple of old Frieden calculators, mostly mechanical but could add, subtract, multiply and divide. They would run you $2,000 to $3,000 each in the early 1960s. More than many cars. They didn't print out the answer, but displayed it in a movable carriage and you would have to write down the answer. How things have improved.

One of my first jobs was during high school, where I was doing cost accounting, and I had to use one those monsters.

This was in the days of punch card "computers".

I had to mark up the cards with the info, then give them to the "computer" department where my aunt worked as a data entry clerk (typing on a punch card machine) then handling them off to the "computer" guys who ran them through card sorter, etc, etc, so they could have a printout for inventory and payroll.

Man, I am old....LOL

I didn’t know that.

How's the new gig working out? I'm sure being an alarm flunky fits you quite well...
