What’s the trick? Every time the TV goes off so does network. I followed the manual and made sure not to connect it until the TV was on. Then went into the menu to connect it.

It was probably an accident. He was probably trying to hit decline and missed then realized it would be too obvious if he hung up.

Hey everyone - Really sorry I am late responding to this. I meant to follow up with you all last week.

Are you using a Veranda model? If so the key is to make sure you have quick start mode is enabled in the settings of the TV. The Ethernet port will stay active while the TV is powered off with this setting on. This setting is under the system tab.
