I’ve seen a few threads of people asking this very question. And now there is a video of 7 different anchors with graphs and scientific as much as possible.

If you’re into comparison videos and “will this work” such as bacon grease for engine oil. Then this channel is just for you as well...

Oh and here’s that bacon grease for engine oil video...

Hmm, actually I linked that one as well. But it is odd that my post is not complete.

Here is the anchor test video.

I had mentioned about this guy doing some awesome videos. Of comparing products and other videos such as what if videos, such as the bacon grease.

Please save me the time and just tell me already, unless which is best varies by situation. Then a discussion is required.

Thanks.

The more surface area on the back of the sheetrock, the more weight they held.

Point of failure with any of the wings was pulling the wing through the sheetrock, not the bolt out of the wing. Which also makes the most dramatic hole.

I't appears the toggler beats the spring wing from the fact that the togglers have even pressure on the back of the drywall, the spring wing type by design acts a little like a cutting tool, once it reaches the point of penetrating the sheetrock, it more cut it's way out than blasted through like the togglers.
Technology is cheap, Time is expensive.
