Way back, working in my first multi million dollar mansion, I was cutting into some VERY expensive wood walls for some inwall speakers when the homeowner's came into the room.

I made like I didn't notice, and said "Oh no!".

The clients wife was not happy. Especially after her husband started laughing....

When I was doing car audio, I worked for a big box store that was local to Wisconsin and one day, I finished a Jeep Wrangler that had been in the bay closest to the wall that was shared by the shop and waiting area. As I stood up, I yelled "OH MY GOD! WHAT HAVE I DONE?????????????". My friend was shop manager and immediately, he came flying into the shop to find out what was happening. He said the Jeep owner's eyes looked like someone in a cartoon.
My mechanic told me, "I couldn't repair your brakes, so I made your horn louder."

One thing I learned from BellSouth years ago was: You never DRILL into a space when you don't know what is in the space.

I know someone (electrician) that learned a very expensive lesson by drilling through a floor to install a floor outlet, and then watching in amazement as a stream of water came shooting out of the floor.

He was just predrilling a hole for lagbolts to hold a tv bracket to the wall.  In most cases, I trace the bracket position on the wall and then cut my single gang holes in first which gives me a peak inside.  But I can't really blame him for drilling a small hole as he did.  There should have been nail plates in place.

From the mid 70s to the early 80s, Rogersound sold and installed car stereos. This came to an abrupt end one Saturday morning when the guys opened up the headquarters building, which was offices, main store, and main warehouse, and had to clear the building of smoke. The place was permeated.

It turned out that one of the car stereo guys, working on a Bentley (reputed to have been Wilt Chamberain's), he had drilled into a surface and somehow shorted something out in a magical way that made the car slowly smoke but never actually flame. (Or maybe it was just far enough from everything that the flames didn't spread.)

I wasn't working there at the time and I had not heard about it, but one day a couple of years later I noticed that the PVC piping going from the air compressor to the assembly line sagged quite noticeably, even though it was 1" pipe and was supported every four feet or so. I asked and was told of the smoke.

Seems it got so hot near the ceiling that the pipes softened and relaxed into nice catenaries. The air compressor had been bled, so the pipes didn't burst. Just relaxed.

The insurance people cleaned the place up pretty well, but they were closed for two weeks.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Maybe this would have helped-

Ah, yes, the famous Lucas brand of auto accessories. The only product they ever made that didn't suck was their vacuum cleaner.

Fred Allen was a funny guy who was part of the Jack Benny radio show cast back in the day.* He had this to say:

When asked how he liked English warm beer, Fred Allen said, "as far as I'm concerned they can put it back in the horse."

I knew when I made that comment about Lucas that it would just derail this thread even further.

* "Back in the day" was pretty much any time before people said "back in the day." They said "yesteryear" or "in days of old" back then.

The phrase "in days of old" is patently ridiculous because, in those days, things were new. Today is the days of old.

Wanted to add that there is NO contact info for this company on Amazon. Cannot find any info about them online. Amazon won't provide the info so I cannot simply give the info to the people contacting me.

Also have determined they are not clicking through my site, at least not in the case of the folks that email.  Going through my site goes through a contact form, which is not was is happening with the emails I receive.  They are getting the email from Google directly, which I can do nothing about in terms of stating we are not affiliated with this reseller on Amazon.

Tell us their company name. Maybe someone out here has an idea. I would not normally go to yelp instead of amazon, but maybe yelp could help.
