resurrecting this thread to ask a related question:

have any of you had success printing out sheets of wire labels in place of printing them from a roll?

I'm hoping to have all the labels printed out when I wrap up the wire schematics for our guys, but I want the labels to last.  Is this a thing?

If your company uses D-tools, I believe you can print labels directly out of the program. I believe they use Brother templates. Not sure if they make ones that are durable enough to withstand rough-in.

LAT-51 is the only one I remember off the top of my head. I don't do the ordering for them.

Hmm, Brady sounds interesting. Using Brother, so far so good, the one I use is probably over 10 years old now.

Panduit and Belden both make high quality sheets of self laminating labels in various sizes. Belden has label software for their sheets. I import my excel label data into access to make a custom label.

Ya, Brady has there own software too. They also allow excel imports.

We use them for patch panels, 110 blocks and cable labels.

Rhino's or P-Touch for everything else.

How about shrinkwrap labels? I have seen them in racks but I do not know where they come from. I like them without shrinking them because you can slide them down the wire if you re-terminate.
