All my equipment is hooked up via s-video. I have one unit (karaoke mike mixer) that is analog (yellow RCA jack only). Would it damage my dvd player to have s-video and video RCA jack connected at the same time. I wanted to run s-video into A/V reciever and Video RCA into T/V video 2 input. Sound would be ran to A/V reciever from DVD player to receiver dvd input and mike to receiver aux imput. So there would never be a time that both video outs from dvd would be used at the same time although they would always be connected. This would save me from using rca video jack on all my equipment just for the mike mixer. Has anyone seen a rca video to s-video inline converter?

You can use both RCA and S-Video at the same time as long as your DVD player outputs them at the same time (99% of DVD players do).
