We're looking for a better sounding solution over S***s. Any thoughts on the above? What's been reliable for you, easy for the client to use, etc.

Look at BlueSound. Great piece that are priced just a bit higher than sonos but sound so much better.
Autonomics is great. best itunes integration by far. models get a bit expensive.
For the best high end server there is, look at the Roon Nucleus.
I cant really recommend fusion. their boxes are slow... and I've had lots of failures as well.

Pretty good luck with Autonomics. Once in a while they become unresponsive and need a re-boot. Better pre-Snap.

We have been using Autonomic exclusively for a few years now and they have been great. They do occasionally have issues but nothing we couldn't get resolved.
We have had many issues with Fusion in the past so we stopped using them.
Lode audio lent us one of their streamers a while back and we have been testing it with our Elan system. Works well and you definitely pay a premium for the higher quality audio.
