You'll need to measure the plugs- I wouldn't go smaller than 3/4" for anything and usually use 1-1/4" smurf- there's just too much chance that something will need to be added in the future.

This is from Samsung's website.
MOLDING PLUG SIZE (W x H x D): [TV] 1.5" x 2.2" x 0.6" [OC] 1.0" x 2.5" x 0.5"

I have a “defective” One Connect cable from a 65” Frame on my desk.

The 90degree end that goes to TV fits in a 1.5” Carlon RiserGuard

The straight end that connects to the One Connect “should fit” in a 1.25”

Neither will fit in the 1”

Pss. This is an Optical cable, be cautious of bend radius!

I've been using 1.25" conduit for the One Connect cables.

I was able to cut the plastic hood off one end of the 1st generation One Connect cable allowing me to pass them through 1" conduit at a few jobs, but haven't tried this with the current cable which includes power.

Yeah, it includes power, so cutting anything off would be dangerous to your business and anything went wrong resulting in a fire. I wouldn't cut it at all.

It's getting so that we have to read the instructions, and maybe even have the item in front of us, to be able to figure out how to install it. The dimensions given above don't even tell us clearly which dimension tells us how wide that conduit would have to be.

Is there a note in the box explaining that the keyholes appear to be upside down to both experienced and inexperienced installers?
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Thanks Guys, I was dealing with an asshole contractor and called around to every electrical supply house to see what flexible conduit I could get. The largest was 1.25 in BX form.

Was stressed all day until I got home, tried it in a scrap piece of conduit coiled up and it went through fine and then saw what you guys had posted.

All the while cursing samsung. I ran a bunch of cat6 just incase I had to put the one connect box behind the TV (difficult because its brick/furring strips)

It’s not optical. It carries power to the panel

I do believe it is

6 little fibers
4 copper conductors

So which one do you think carries the power, the optical or the copper?
There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.

I apologize

I should have stated “it has optical cables in it”, which bend radius can affect

(Because the display sits flat on the wall, as in little to no space behind it, so the cable from display back to wall hole needs attention not to bend it too tight)

Yes maybe the copper is there to power the display?
Or add pull strength to the cable?
Or is the ARC Channel offering quadraphonic stereo?
Maybe just for electrostatic discharge?

Or is there a special ultrasonic infrared flux capacitor in that tiny yellow box that converts light to electrical power?

Why did it have to be in metallic flex?

It didn’t, it’s the only thing that was flexible that was available within 50 miles.
