Has anyone found a solution to use USB extenders that passes power? I bought a pair but it doesn't pass power.

I assume this [Link: cablestogo.com] doesnt work because it looks like it requires an outlet at the device end.

My guess is that your extender only need some of the 8 conductors. If you can find a pinout for this maybe you can steal the unused conductors to send power down via wall wart.

Something like this?

Do a google search that's the same as the title of this thread.

I usually just pull an extra 18/2 for power extension of the device. Haven't found any extenders that also allow for power distribution.

I used monoprice ones to power Nest Cameras. They still sell them I believe. I wasn’t using it for anything but power.

It might be obvious, but
The upper right, that's view looking at the contacts
"Schirm" means shield
"Stecker" means plug
In German, the first letter of every noun is capitalized in German. They aren't being formal. They're just being German.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

If you're trying to get just USB power over Cat, then look at poetexas.com

I've used their stuff to power Nest cameras, including the USB-C based IQ models over Cat without issues.

They have very helpful American tech support too.
