Hipster whines at tech magazine for using his picture to imply that all hipsters look the same. He then is told that the picture was of an entirely different hipster!

LOFL.

This article could be fake and it would still be pretty funny.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Could it be satire?

Sure!

Its believability makes it even funnier if it DOES turn out to be satire. After all, the best articles from the Onion are the ones that are reprinted in China!

I'm suddenly reminded of an article I saw at least a dozen years ago about auto sedan models made in India for sikhs. These were made with the roof of the car about eight inches higher than cars not made for sikhs. This was to accommodate their turbans.

Turns out it was a satire article. See, it was so funny that I decided to look it up, and it's nowhere to be found. But on this planet, in this age, it was not beyond belief that such a thing existed.

And that's the sad part.

I saw a meme of a little kid and an adult male on his knees, squaring off in a Karate match- it was titled 'Adult male identifies as a 5 year old".

Don't think that is not an actual tragedy. There are people who have male bodies, who now identify as women, who are smashing women's athletic events records. It is truly a tragedy because it completely undermines women's accomplishments. When will some savvy feminist complain about that?

Some time last year, in a combat sport, a trans woman put an actual woman in the hospital. [Link: 999thepoint.com]

You know... when everybody is getting their special attention and their correct rights (which don't extend to the privilege of using a male body to beat up a woman, just cuz you have tits).... is anybody ever going to ask these questions:

You don't believe that God created people, right? You believe in evolution, right?

So... since evolution is the way things are, things that harmonize with evolution are the things to be encouraged, right? Everybody has rights, but we should make sure that people who cooperate with evolution are treated extremely well, right? The survival of the human species depends on it, right?

So... why is it that male and female couples are not celebrated as THE ACTUAL REQUIREMENT for evolution to occur?

Because we live in the age of enlightenment, or some such crap. A minority is getting to tell the vast majority that they must give preferential treatment.

Anything that makes someone not operate within the biological method of reproduction is removing them from the gene pool unless they decide to use in vitro fertilization or something that's done medically.

BTW- before you know who tells me I'm a homophobe, there's no malice in my comments.

First, they are celebrated to the point of exhaustion.

Second, you're confusing Evolution with Procreation.

I do agree, however, with your point about "no guy with tits should be beating up a girl". I think the Russians have been doing this for years with their athletes. If you add tits, inject steroids and shake well you will end up with a guy with tits and a package so small and shriveled it will probably pass for a girl. And then win Gold Medals!

I'm assuming "you know who" is good old me.

BTW - I would never call you a homophobe for what you said in this thread! It's more, I don't know, transphobic.

Not at all, because procreation is a sine qua non of evolution. Neither of those words deserves a capital letter.

Ugh. Transphobic?

Did I write anything about criminalizing or killing people who identify this way? No, I didn't.

Why don't you go after the 74 countries where being LGBT is illegal, 72 where homosexuality is a criminal offense and 12 countries where it's punishable by death?

I don't think I have ever seen anyone make claims about people they don't know as often as you do. Did you take a class? Did anyone ask you to do that on their behalf?

Meanwhile, back to the original post.

It must be true, since I saw it on Fox News this morning.

Now then, back to all the off topic homo, trans, whatever bullshit, name calling.

Being phobic doesn't mean you have to kill someone. Reading some of the comments by you and others on here got me to wondering, why is it that so many of you are obsessed with what's underneath the pants (or panties) of another individual. Do you stay up all night thinking (fantasizing?) about Chelsea Manning's private parts?

Or if you sleep in, you can read it in a Trump tweet later in the day. Garbage in/garbage out.

Phobia means 'fear of'- not afraid of them but I really don't think Manning's sex change should have been paid by the US taxpayers and I don't think a small percentage of people should be able to force the rest of us to change our lives to accommodate them in every way.

BTW- I'm not the one who brought up Manning's naughty bits.
