Casey - for every single outing, there is a packing list from the scoutmaster. Specify the allowed lights, for a year. They will eventually learn what is acceptable. Once you move up to Boy Scouts they follow directions fairly well. -Joe

My son says he wants to make Eagle and OA. I just hope his medical issues don’t prevent that for him. It’s made completing this year a bit of a challenge. I’ve tried to talk my girls into it, but had no luck. One couple here started a venture crew about a year ago and I tried and tried to talk my oldest into trying it. She won’t even discuss it.

(there is no better way to get me to read a post than to put "new tool" in the topic, lol. Tools are my weakness).

Where's PETA when you need them?
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

I have to say it came in handy last night. While you guys were having a drink, I was setting fence post. Used the task mode which lit up my work and provided illumination around the work area. Worth it just for that project. Then I performed a goldfish burial. 8 years old.

One of the pictures showed someone just wearing it on their head with no hat. I just don’t see it being worth $170

My aunt got a gold fish from a carnival. Those usually die within days. Hers lived to at least 11. It was about 9" from nose to tail the last time i saw it. Her and my uncle divorced and i haven't seen her in forever. If i ever see her the first question will be "how long did the gold fish live".
