What would be nice is if they could at least detect when the entire outlet bank goes offline. I'll take the small amount of failures for the convenience if we see a lot more fail that will cause some concern.

I just had my first 12 outlet die, I think it was the lower half. I was told that the issue has been remedied and this should not happen with new ones. The one I had was a couple years old.

I have had many 200-IP-3 Units die and I was told by Snap that all will eventually die. Many are on take over jobs and Snap does not want to replace takeover units. I am not sure why if the product must of been purchased from them in the first place since only they sell it. I also hate that the newer takeover units cannot be easily transferred over. They expect you to contact the old company and have them remove it from their system. These units are the property of the customer and it should be transferable. I may be moving to bluevolt or surgeX as I see less if any issues with those units.

Do you know, do the even-numbered outlets fail also? I only need six outlets and am wondering whether I can keep my WB-700. I'm an end-user. Thanks much!

Random issue with a capacitor which can cause EITHER the odd or even outlets to fail. Eventually, they will all fail. Its best to get with your installer and have them replace the unit. If you are asking if you can keep the failing unit if you had the unit replaced with a new one, the answer is no. The failed unit will need to be returned by the dealer or they will be charged for the new unit.

Get the failing unit replaced.

Ranger Home, thank you for your reply. No, I don't want to keep the failing unit. I can't reach the dealer who installed my unit. If there's someone here in the Denver area (south) who would like a new customer, please let me know. Thanks again.
