Hello -
I wanted to send out some sort of holiday greeting to my RC friends, but it is so difficult in today's world to know exactly what to say without offending someone. So I met with my attorney today, and on his advice (and after $299 in attorneys fees) I wish to say the following: I wish you a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling, and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2004, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make America great (not to imply that America is necessarily greater than any other country or is the only "AMERICA" in the western hemisphere), and without regard to the race, creed, color, age, physical ability, religious faith, or sexual preference of the wishes.
Also, please accept, with no obligation implied or implicit, my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low stress, nonaddictive gender neutral, celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasions and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all.
By accepting this greeting, you are accepting these terms: 1)This greeting is subject to clarification or withdrawal, 2) It is freely transferable with no alteration to the original greeting, 3) It implies no promise by the wisher to actually implement any of the wishes for her/himself or others, and 4) It is voidwhere prohibited by law and is revocable at the sole discretion of the wisher. This wish is warranted to perform as expected, within the usual application of good tidings, for a period of one year or until the issuance of a subsequent holiday greeting, whichever comes first, and warranty is limited toreplacement of this wish or issuance of a new wish at the sole discretion of the wisher...

I'm always right. The only time I was wrong was the time that I thought, that I was wrong.

You do realize that when electrons are inconvenienced, the resulting friction causes heat. Thusly, this carefully crafted "greeting" just contributed to global warming. LOL
Funny post. Thanks for the laugh. :)

Since today is the 23rd... Happy Festivus to The Rest-of-Us! I always get misty-eyed whenever I see the stark beauty of an un-adorned aluminum "Festivus Pole". And hey, what would Festivus be without the traditional "Airing of the Grievances" and the "Feats of Strength"? If you are un-familiar with the "history" of Festivus: [Link: seattlepi.nwsource.com][Link: karber.net][Link: seinfeld-fan.net]

Hey,
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!
Sorry to offend but I could care less... my kids go to Christmas Eve Mass and wait for Santa Claus. PC being taken this far really chaps my butt. The kids aren't even allowed to say "Christmas" at school... they had a "holiday" party.
I don't know what happened but for some reason I didn't grow up hating people who celebrated Kwanzaa or Hanukkah because I celebrated Christmas... when are we going to get over it?
2 channel.... that should be text for a card... see if Hallmark will copyright it! Good laugh.

We can do it my way, or we can do it my way while I yell. The choice is yours. |

Hope everybody has a great day celebrating whatever you celebrate, even if you are not celebrating anything.
