Ernie, can you do us all a favor and read through the two links posted above and see if the limitation of 32 devices is correct? I don’t want to read all of that

I'm trying to work smarter, so I'm going to wait for Brent to comment on those two things. He's probably got an answer to this guy's claims that won't take him any work and definitely won't take me any work!

The supreme vote of confidence, or your subtle talent at trolling, whichever it is, is noteworthy. Luvya.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

I wasn’t trolling. I was trying to do like you and get someone else to give me the summarized version.

from the linked document
The HDCP Transmitter may support simultaneous connections to HDCP Receivers through one or more of its HDCP-protected interface ports. The system also allows for HDCP Repeaters that support downstream HDCP-protected Interface Ports. The HDCP System allows up to four levels of HDCP Repeaters and as many as 32 total HDCP Devices, including HDCP Repeaters, to be connected to an HDCP- protected Interface port.

This is what I thought. It wasnt the number of keys on a network, the keys had to do with the number of displays you could connect to a source. Im trying to figure out if there is something to this claim of a limitation of 32 devices. and if so, is it just sources or does it count all HDMI devices, like displays too.

Relax Fins. The Just Add Power licensed implementation of HDCP (including 2.2) has no such limitation on either end (sources or displays). We have been thoroughly audited by the HDCP police and pay our hefty royalties to HDMI.ORG on a regular basis.

Whew! Nobody had to read those articles. Or papers. I don't know. I didn't read them.
