For true 4K it is disk or K-Scape. All the rest have some major compromises to them. You have the pixels but the signal is compressed as hell.
I had a conversation yesterday with someone about video and they were saying even 4K BD is only about 1% of the true image. The other thing They explained is that the part that people can see the best about 4K is the expanded colors, but because it’s the easiest, color is the part that gets compressed the most.
I have no idea if this is all correct, since I’ve never worried that much about video, but it sounded like it made sense
