I have a friend whose company is moving work spaces. There is a ton of component connections in a break room and an entryway.

I know the real answer is to rewire stuff, digital signage and software etc.

We talked about this, but for the sake of argument, there are no big changes happening now, just make it work, get some content from a flash drive to the two entry TVs. Right now we are using an old Blu Ray player with a flash drive input and component out. It works, just not super seamless obviously.

Maybe that is the only work around on the cheap. Any other ideas? (that avoid re-wiring)

Thanks,
Tom

That’s about as cheap as you can get. Anything else I can think involves new media players and some converters, which is more $$.

Hang a new TV and plug the thumb drive into it?

That's pretty much what we're doing now. But, he'd like it to be easier/easy as possible for front desk gal in the morning etc.

For a separate minor issue, I did put in a coupe new Sonys (in said entryway, XBR49X800E) and for some reason they wouldn't recognize the flash drive. I saw a couple notes on line that said there was an order of operation for the USB inputs - go to Media, then put in flash drive? I can't quite recall as I haven't been out there in a week, but I would like to finish it up!
