I just found this from a in game ad. At first I thought it was a copyright infringement.

Plus it could encourage the next Edison or Tesla

Maybe Bose can create a "steal the other guys work and take credit for it" set.

Cool. Modern Heath kit. Little misleading. Quoted from site. that comes from being able to say, “I built that!”
Should say I assembled that.

This is a pop culture modern misconception. Prove where Edison stole from Tesla.....was it Tesla’s DC power distribution system? That didn’t exist. Was it Tesla’s Polyphase AC system? Well of course not! So what was stolen? Oh, that’s right, it was westinghouse who urged Tesla to drop the license fee’s to his parents making Westinghouse even richer and leaving Tesla with no safety net for the rest of his life.

So what your saying is that Bose has to come up with a much more complicated set.

I was ten when I bought my first Heath Kit amp!
I learned a TON from that project!
Built a pair of speaker cabinets to the speakerlab specs of the drivers I bought( I mowed a TON of lawns that summer.....almost 50 hours a week!!)

I was a ROCKSTAR in my own mind and recieved a ton of hugs and "that-a-boy" from family members and friends when they actually heard it!

And it sounded pretty good.
12" woofers,5-1/4" mids,1" soft dome tweeter.
Crossovers that I actually desgned, soldered, and built!

It pretty much gave me the incentive to strive to be the best that I could be at anything that I could do!

It also brought me into this industry.
I spent 28 years creating positive relationships with clients while fulfilly their needs and wants.
Busted my a** to meet deadlines and keep the build schedule on tract.

And I learned so much more along the way than any college could possibly offer that I feal like I made a good choice!

Many became 'family friends'!

Life has been good!

I'm still pretty proud overall!

I actually had to LAUGH at "THE GUY" that mentioned in July of 2012 that "You didn't build this"............ but that's another conversation......
Every day is a good day.......some are just better than others!

Proud to say that my property is protected by a high speed wireless device!

You have to watch more than one news station. If you had you would have heard the entire speech and not just a sound bite.

For those who missed it...the message was...

"You didn't build this...by yourself."

You mentioned mowing lawns all summer. Who bought the lawnmower? Who paid for the mortgage or rent where you stored the lawnmower? Whos tax dollars subsidize gasoline prices so that you could fuel the lawnmower?

America is a partnership. We build things together.

I get slammed when I dare bring up anything remotely political to a post. I guess it only matters which side of the aisle one is on.

Why do you even bother? Facts (or any sort of comprehension or shades of gray) are completely lost on these nice folks.

This is common here. The "thats another conversation" conversations are in just about every thread. The moment you respond with anything that sounds reasonable or fact'sy you get accused of being a Mr.Stanley.

Having said that...you have been Mr'Stanley'ing a bunch of threads here lately LOL. I know its maddeningly frustrating but its almost over so just relax and wait for the global celebration.
