I am just looking for a decent, inexpensive in wall speaker for a 5.1 setup in our den that we are finally finishing for use.  I believe I narrowed it down to Triad InWall Bronze/4 Sats and Origin LCR67.  I've used the LCR67s in a few systems and they sounded great for the money.  Their listed response is a bit better then the Triads, but I'm leaning toward the Triads simply for the enclosed speaker.  The wall is on a shared wall with the kitchen.  It really doesn't matter THAT much, as the house is open concept and there is no doors between the two rooms, so the wall is open on both sides to the kitchen.  I was just trying to keep the sound focused in that room as best as possible. Any reason to go with one over the other?  I will just be using an older Yamaha RX-A720 I have laying around to power them, so not a ton of power driving them.

Don’t have experience with the Origins, but I’d probably go with the Triads anyways.

I’ve never been impressed by a Triad speaker.

I'll have to disagree. One of the best sounding theaters I have ever done was all triad in walls. I think Origin also sounds great though. My only concern is whether the origins will create any vibration on the wall in the kitchen.

I've done a few theaters with Triad Golds (in room) over the years with in-walls for surrounds and sides and have been very happy with the results.

Way off topic, but I was lucky enough to play with a killer 2.4 system recently.
Wisdom L75's, with 4 Wisdom S110s. The subs were powered by Wisdom amps. The L75s were biamped with 2 D'Agostino Momentum amps:

We had to take these up to the third floor and then into the attic and back
across the unit.

and an D'Agostino Pre amp:

If you have a client with an extra $200k burning a hole in his pocket this would be a good option. Up there with one of the best 2 channel systems I have worked with over the years.

Along the same line. I did a system for a client that had all Cary Audio.

The 5 tube amps sounded incredible.

I have found that Triad speakers are very dependent on amplification. Use shit amps your going to get shit results. (same can be said for mose speakers actually, but truer with triad)

They also like power
