I have an old HAI system that the client wants monitored. I am currently an Alarm.com dealer and they use to not have any options. I haven't checked in a while. Is anyone using Alarm.com with an HAI system? I only need to send alarm signals.

Why cant Alarm.com connect to an HAI panel? HAI/Leviton uses the same, simple, standard communications protocol that the industry uses. Not familiar with Alarm.com and what the offer, just seems odd to me.

Alarm.com ties into the control portion of an alarm panel. With alarm.com, the user can edit codes, arm, disarm, look at status, set schedules, send text and emails, etc. Alarm.com only works with a few manufacturers and HAI is not one of them.

I basically need just a RJ31X jack interface that is cellular. I don't need any control, only send alarm signals.

ive used the telguard tg-1 express with hai. you hook it up to phone line on the hai board and it will call out like it normally would with a phone line hooked up. you have to have an account with telguard to register the cell unit and have a monitoring service that will monitor the signals. if its a newer hai you might be able to hook it up on the network and use the snaplink app to control the system

I haven't used them in quite a while but Uplink should have something that will work just fine for that.

With HAI you can use any ContactID, 2300 or 1400 communication protocol.

I use this Uplink box for monitoring HAI over Internet:

[Link: uplink.com]

Works great. You will need to set up an Uplink account which is an additional monthly fee.
