On the subject of dogs and alcohol.
When i was a teenager...it was winter and cold outside. I ran into a friend of mine walking his dog down the street. The two of us talked for about 10 minutes. While we were talking his dog had found a frozen puddle where someone had spilled a bottle of E&J brandy. His dog licked at the icy brandy the whole time we were talking. By the time we noticed the dog couldn't stand up on its own anymore. He was drunk and had to be carried back home.
