I decided to go ahead and get the Apple Watch. Went with the Aluminum silver Series 4 with Cellular and GPS. Picked it up new years eve.

I actually had the worst apple sales person I ever had to deal with. seemed like my questions were a bother to him and had no interest in getting it setup with my phone and showing me anything about the watch. I actually considered not making the purchase, but I had already stopped at best Buy and had an equally poor sales rep and they didnt have the version in stock I wanted either... so that prompted me to make the 30+ minute drive to the apple store.

Anyway, I'm glad I got it so far. As I suspected, glancing at the watch with notifications is much easier. the bio-metrics are cool as well.

App wise, Savant and Control4 work very well, but are quite limited. I'll probably use my phone for those. I really havent run into an app yet that really impresses me.

Charging isnt an issue. I threw it on the charger while I showered and got ready in the morning and then while I was getting ready for bed. less than 1.5 hours of charge in 2 full full days if use and I just dropped it on the charger now at 25%

Gotta get some bands and cases now...

At that time I was active in the Orlando Partot Heads and that Video was filmed at Universal studios, as I recall it was a two day shoot with very limited Kraft services (bottled water only) for the volunteer talent. Still it was a lot of fun.

No, really other than being in the video and watching the process (painstakenly long), this is not one of my better stories.

Oh, I'm sorry -- I thought it said
Is it time to bury the Apple Watch yet?
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

I don’t buy the more productive thing. This is an attempt to justify the watch. My daughter got a watch for Christmas. I’ve played with it some, and what I figured out is that everything on the watch is harder to do and slower because of the screen size. Especially scrolling around trying to find the app you want.

If Apple wants these to take off, they need to get the service providers to stop charging more for the calling feature.

Don't buy an Apple Watch, wait for Samsung to put Apples OS on their phone like they just put Apple Movies / TV and Airplay 2 on their TV's...
This industry is not getting cheaper and cheaper, we're simply convincing ourselves that we have to push the cheapest option to customers.
