First and most importantly, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone.

Just before the holiday, Zektor was acquired by Pulse Eight in the UK. There was a press release that didn't get fully reviewed before it went to the wire, so I'll clear up a few things:

- Everyone at Zektor remains
- I will manage and run No America as I did before. No more responsibility outside of the USA and Canada except to augment sales efforts at tradeshows like ISE.
- We will be offering many new items and categories to be announced later
- Our video products will be available to all of our dealers as they are now. The article made it sound like video products were only to be RTI. Pulse Eight had an OEM arrangement with RTI since last year.

The business arrangement was a perfect marriage of audio and video. The two companies complimented each other extremely well with virtually no overlap. Zektor will be the audio arm for the company and Pulse Eight will be the video team.

The Pulse Eight engineering group does things right when it comes to reliable HDMI and have CEC functioning better than anyone.

Hi, Jeff -- congrats to you and team! Pulse-Eight is such a cool, innovative company.

I don't know if any PR went out. I had written the CE Pro story based on an interview with Martin. Sorry if my writeup made it sound like Pulse-Eight products would no longer be available through Zektor. I wanted to be sensitive to Pulse-Eight's OEM "partnership" with RTI, versus its other relationships with vendors like Zektor who distribute a couple of Pulse-Eight products.

As we wrote: "RTI will continue to be the “exclusive partner” for Pulse-Eight’s video products in the U.S., although some Pulse-Eight products continue to be offered through earlier partners, including Zektor."

In any case, looks like a great marriage of two innovative companies that are committed to the custom channel!
