Im trying to get IP control to work on H25 receivers that are on a commercial account. Ive gone through all the standard setup but cant get them to work. Anything Im missing?

Need more info. How are you trying to control them? Are you using the Business Ipad app? Did you go into settings and setup Home? Are you using the DECA to connect to the internet?

We're using DECA and iPads to control three commercial receivers in a restarurant, and have several similar setups. So, yes.

Which DECA piece are you using? DirecTV has had a lot of turnover in model numbers as of late. The DCAU1R0 is still available online and you might find the home cinema kit too. If you have a DECA splitter it will not work. A good rule of thumb is that the adapter should have a power supply and not be powered over the coax. From what I see, DirecTV is moving away from standalone DECA now that the Genie masters are also the DECA master and I guess they don't consider the commercial market as reason enough to justify a standalone product.

It was the DCA2SR0. I didn’t have a lot of time to spend on troubleshooting the problem, so I stuck a couple flashers on the boxes and moved on to bigger problems.

That's the problem. The DCA2SR0 is a splitter meant to go at the receiver end and provide an ethernet connection for the receiver.

According to the diagram I found, it could be used as a network injector. The boxes showed they had a network address and connection to the internet. And elan showed it was getting data from the DTV receivers. But control wouldn’t work.
