Client wants to hookup his VCR to the TV and watch old christmas videos. I looked through all the bags that came with the TV and can't find an adapter. I've been told by my Sony distributor that it didn't come with the TV, are these available from Amazon?

Tell him to have the videos converted. Analog is dead.

You are correct. The cable is not included, although they do give you the pinout in the manual. I also went through all the pre-made cables I had laying around before I found one that was the proper pinout.

It ended up being the A/V cable that came packaged with the old Control4 iPod dock. If you are lucky enough to have one of those, there ya go. Otherwise you might have to get custom.

I dunno, Oprah. It's possible that taking a video of what's showing on a TV might degrade the quality of the picture....
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Ha Ha you guys are a bunch of jokers.

In all seriousness I guess I understand why Sony didn't include it in the box, saves them a couple cents for something that will likely end up in the landfill. I'm looking for a simple solution for my client so will look through my stash or get the one from Amazon.

Thanks

I recently needed to get a clients cameras on a A9 and needed this adapter. I took a few minutes and found the adapter, which had different pinouts but it worked fine. IE: video was actually red on adapter.
You can find it, just keep searching the net!! It's available, sorry I don't have a link😬
