Is there a difference between the Genesis MX 900 & just the MX900? They look identical except it says Genesis on the bottom.
Can you program the genesis in CCP? Or do you need the stand alone software?

Knowing that Gold went up a few K makes me think "well now I have to do a better job on selling more equipment".

If it says "Genesis" then it's one of the original MX-900's released, back when URC thought every model remote should have a fancy name (like the MX-850 Aeros, MX-350 Osiris, MX-650 Omega, MX-950 Aurora, etc).
I seem to recall something about using these older MX-900's with CCP. Yeah, I'm pretty sure it should work; I think it's something like after using CCP you can no longer use MX-900 Setup with it.

Originally had standalone software, but there would be no reason to use that nowadays.
Watch out for worn buttons on that model.

Thanks guys, I have a customer who is house sitting for a friend and their dog chewed through their existing Genesis Mx900 remote. She went straight to eBay & got one and called me & wants it programmed. Thanks for the help, I just wanted to make sure before I rolled a truck. I don’t think i ever used the original software before. Guess I’m to young haha
