I use Windows Media Center on Windows 7 and two HDHomeRun tuners, one prime (cable) and one OTA. (have been for years) Then a mixture of stuff on different TVs to view the stream, no cable boxes. I now have Fire TV stuff hanging off each tv in the house and my wife can even figure out how to view live and recorded tv, and Netflix. Amazon prime movies and Netflix round it out. I can't really find a streaming service that has the all channels we watch. What I'm hoping is that Silicon Dust will be able integrate their tuners' channels into the Fire TV guide, like Amazon is doing with their Recast. We'll see if Amazon open that up. It seem like a lot of people, if cutting the cord, go with Hulu and Netflix.
