I am looking for a universal remote that will need to control a pioneer plasma, yamaha receiver, a sony dvd and a sony vcr along with a pioneer multi disk changer and last but not least Direct TV. And maybe my lights with a Lutron IR dimmer. There will be no line of sight to the components so the remote will have to have RF capabilities. Also maybe some thing that is a little user friendly for the wife and kids and is not a programing nightmare. Thank you for the help.

MX850 with an MRF250 RF base or the touchscreen MX3000 with MRF250 RF base station. Both are by Universal Remote and when programmed by a competent installer can work absolutely beautifully and simply.

All I can say is Thank You. I just received my MX850, and in less than 2 hrs i have it programed and working with everything. I am sure i will tweak it a little more in time but this thing works great. Easy to program and Use. Just what the doctor ordered. I just wanted to say thanks to everyone from the fourms your input and knowlege are much appreciated.
