Dose anyone know where the IR receiver is on a Samsung Q9 ?

If I recall correctly is a few inches from the right side. Yup, its dumbest thing to NOT have it built into the control box. I slipped an emitter in between the tv and the outside frame, there is a tiny slot/area.

however, your other post say its a Frame TV (and my post is in reference to a FRAME tv), but then your others posts reference a Q9.

They don't have an IR port on the back like Sony???

I’ve been using IP control for all mine, but I thought the IR receiver was on the bottom of the TV in the center where the ambient light and motion sensors are located.

If it was anywhere else it would be covered by the option white and wood colored frames.

Apologies, im not sure why i thought it was a Frame, it is infact a Q9.

I havnt deleted all these threads and merged them into one as some good answers have been made in the various threads. Although with hind sight they should have all been one thread to begin with.

If you think i should merge them, let me know and ill do it
