IN view of kaleidescape suit, will you change your plans re: video servers? Also, any of you using freeware to copy DVDs onto servers? (or advising clients how to do it)? Anyone who responds with something intelligent gets a pre-press version of my story, which is a doozy. Feel free to email me personally at [email protected]. I can keep your name confidential.
thanks!

I am not a Kaleidascape dealer, but if I were I would treat this as business as usual until the suit is resolved. If K is selling, I would be buying. As far as I know, there has not been an injunction to stop sales.

Julie,

You and I discussed this very issue at Cedia this year and as a company our views have not changed. We are going to wait until the legal issues are settled prior to selling or installing one of these. I would love to jump on the boat and be able to, but our comfort level is not there. Just pop in any disc and read the bright red interpol warning that comes up.

Jason
