We have a Sony xbr 65 inch c series from a few years back connected to a Sonos playbar via optical. We have a Roku connected to the tv. The lip sync is terrible. We cannot find any settings in the tv or Roku to handle lip sync. The Sonos lip sync only handles delay in one direction which is the wrong direction for us. Anyone know of a solution?
Thanks.

Normally, the picture lags audio. Is your picture leading the audio? If so, you'll need to find a way to delay the video.
Experiment a little. I'm not familiar with the xbr. How is lip sync for an analog TV output. As a test you could use headphones or an A/V receiver hookup. If lip sync is better with analog output, you could use a converter. Another approach might be to go directly from ROKU to PLAYBAR.
Do you also have a cable box or disc player connected to the TV? How is lip sync here?

Was it always this way or is having issues recently.
I just got a call about this the other day but via Samsung TV's. Now, I know certain TV channels were worse then others on TV when I initially installed it years ago. But, now being told issue with Streaming apps.
I don't know if the Samsung household updated the Sonos app or not. Wondering maybe if Sonos software update could be the cause it this is new.
