I have a restaurant that has all home run CAT6 cables run for the phones.
They would like a phone system with 4 handsets and 2 cordless handsets.
They have 4 POTS lines.
They would like a wired system, preferably one that can be managed from 1 location or a web interface.
They need good audio quality especially in the noisy hostess/restaurant areas.

I have been looking through many systems but its hard to find a good system with the cordless handsets.

Does anyone know of a system that would be a good fit.

Thanks

I have never installed or used a "pro" phone system that I liked. We stopped selling phone systems because the customers feel the same way. If I were forced to choose one it would be Avaya.

Panasonic NS700 but you'll need to be certified in order to sell it. That will be the case for most pro systems though. You could also do a Panasonic TDA50G which doesn't require certification.

You should consider the Panasonic kxtda50g. I can configure for you, and we provide tech support for programming.

Exactly, enough details need to be clarified before I'll quote.

Things like square footage, voice mail, info on hold, stuff like that.

www.capitolsales.com is the web site.

I would look at a cloud hosted VOIP PBX. Hosted so the infrastructure can be dealt with off site, and all you have to do is configure the users, call routes, hold music etc..

Im not sure where you are in the world, so cant suggest some cloud PBX providers, but there are loads of them.

For the handsets we use Yealink who have a good selection of wireless DECT handsets, that run off a wireless DECT POE base station. Yealink also make wired handsets that are POE.

I recently had a client that worked with his IT company out of Santa Barbara to get a Yealink/Ooma system going. Apparently Ooma has teamed up with Yealink to provide an office solution.

Everything was preconfigured by this other company, but we installed it. It couldn't have been easier and the equipment seems quite nice. There were a couple wired desk phones (PoE) and some DECT handhelds, that ran off a PoE gateway. Ring groups, extensions, overall flexibility is infinite. There was a second building that needed to be tied in, no problem with another gateway and another DECT handheld.

They used this system to unify 3 offices in 3 cities and a couple of the executives homes. I don't know the specifics but I do know this setup saves many hundreds $$ each month for them and has a lot more flexibility than the old stuff.
The less I say, the smarter I will appear
