Gman, looking at this again, it just hit me that since the blinds aren’t hooked up, then it makes sense the installers didn’t set the blind limits or program any RF remotes. They also didn’t even make sure the blinds are installed correctly or tracking straight when rolling up or down. Am I correct in this assumption?

Yes, they installed the blinds. Connected the wires, which were too long and they pushed the wire up between the roller shade and the valance assembly. Crazy. The wire is going to rub on the roller. Nothing else was connected. What a mess. Will post a pic of that when on site today

I’ve integrated the URTSiII several times with elan and found them to have range issues and sometimes either it or the blind to lose programming. I’ve got a Q-Motion project coming up in the spring. I’m eager to compare the two.

No kidding. We had the same range issues when we finally got it all done. The designer is ordering an RF extender. We ended up having to take all the blinds down to re-route the LV wiring away from touching the rollers. What a mess but T&M works for me :)

Good luck with that range extender. My experience was it’s also lacking. Especially given the number of blinds you have. It’s a dumb repeater so you can’t use more than one or they will create a loop. If you have the wire, multiple URTSiII is a better option.

Im with Fins. For starters the range on the URTS sucks from the git go, the repeater is just as bad. however, i didnt know you couldnt use more than one! That sucks.
