Philips Respironics. Because it’s the one the sleep specialist sells and through them insurance covers 100%. If I picked a different model from another source insurance would only pay part of it.

It’s got Bluetooth so each morning my phone downloads data from the night. It also uploads data with a cellular modem to the dr.

I read something like 25 million American adults are diagnosed with apnea. And in my son’s Cub Scout pack there is an 8 y/o that had to have his androids removed because of apnea. Yesterday I went camping with the pack and one parent had a battery for his CPAP so he could take it camping.

Same one I have.
My 1 complaint is the delay in turning on, either by hitting the button or by breathing.
My previous machine would turn on as soon as I took a breath.

We need to look to our government to fix this! (joke!)

Considering the cost of lost productivity and the long term detriment to ones overall health, not too funny...

Hence my previous reply to your "joke"...certainly a problem for many...the government would probably be served well by helping if they could...its nice to know you sleep well though...

$800+. The battery pack is a $300 option.

Maybe, but its not a government issue to solve really. But, that's the libertarian side of me speaking as government should be doing WAY less than it is now, thus spending less, thus collecting less.

Doesn't mean I don't feel for those with this issue or others.

I’m curious, what are everyone’s AHI numbers after getting your CPAP? It’s a week now and mine run from 11 to 22. I’m wondering if they will have to turn up the pressure at my next appointment. It’s at 14cm now

Have had a cpap for 20 years.

If you haven’t yet, download the Snore Lab on your phone. It’s great to track your night breathing and sleep and has an added bonus of replaying the strange things many of us say in our sleep. Hilarious and scary.
