Visit your local Lowe’s. If your lucky the still have the 100 lumen Utilitec aluminum LED light on clearance. $1.49 w/Duracell’s. Hard to beat for that price. Work well. Found mine near the registers.

More info at [Link: lowes.com].

It makes sense that they'd sell it for less as a closeout and probably wouldn't spend a lick of energy showing the discount price on line. Heck, if people will still buy it online for six bucks, then why change it?
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

I spent a bit of time looking for it at a nearby Lowes, then realized
a)it's only 100 lumen
b)it uses AAA batteries, and I've decided a flashlight has to be exceptional for me to buy it if it doesn't use rechargeables, and
c)rechargeables are going to cost more, so it's silly for me to look for a six buck flashlight.

Besides, they didn't have any.

You were looking for a $1.49 flashlight. I too am not a AAA fan. But for the price I can leave a descent light I won’t use in 3 more places around my house or vehicles.

Stopped by lowes. for that price, throw one anywhere/everywhere just to have. But, they have not had any since Sept 12 and none at that price. Worth the shot tho! Thx.

That looks just like the ones you can get for free at Harbor Freight.

Not a big deal at the "sale" price, as that's the normal price for a Chinese POS, and then there's the fact that they don't work for sh** in the daylight.

I have probably 20 of them. Give them to friends.

In Southern California that link shows a price of $5.97.

It was still a nice tip, even if they're all gone. Oh well.

It shows $5.97 for me also. But...if i google "100 lumen Utilitec aluminum LED" the top hit is to lowes where its $1.49. So i selected Qty.10 and added to cart. Then i was informed that i could only pick up in Aurora, CO. Once i changed stores the price went up to $5.97.

If you are lucky enough to have them in stock near you they are $1.49. If not you pay $5.97.

Just pull out the crap leaking batteries out of it right away and add some duracells and it works ok.
I may be schizophrenic, but at least I have each other.
