They technically do! It’s called the 2 series active tourer and it looks exactly like you would think. Fortunately it’s one that isn’t available here. Just sad that bmw even has this in its lineup!

The rental van I have is a dodge and has the stow and go system. It’s works unbelievably well and is some of the most clever engineering I have ever seen come out of Detroit! The thing is a turd though lol! This being said the seats are one of the most comfortable seats I’ve ever sat in. (Not counting the unabtainable luxury vehicles I’ve been in) :P

The 2 series active tourer is cute.

I've owned Chrysler Stow-In-Go vans since 2006. Super-useful and can double as as both a work and personal vehicle. Bit of trivia. It cost Chrysler over 350 million dollars to develop Stow-in-Go.

Our latest is a 2017 Pacifica Van. It can even park itself. :-)

Hah! Makes sense why it works so well lol! Not knocking Detroit, I know it costs a fortune for development. But I wonder if that amount was more or less then their competitors could have done. Not the Germans, they would spend 350 million on the straps! :)

Got to Charlotte, just drizzle here on 85s. But major wreck so we’re stuck in front of it.

You would think that Brendon would stop by as he drives directly through Greensboro.

I guess not....

Plans have changed. Her horse show got cancelled tomorrow so we’re either heading to Asheville for the day or may actually drive to Greensboro to see my aunt and cousin (and of course you). We were supposed to meet up with them tomorrow at the show (big horse people) but that’s not happening.

Monday after the delivery we head down to HH for the week! I’ll let you guys know what we end up doing tomorrow!

I wouldn’t go to Asheville. That’s where the storm is headed. And hopefully HH will still be there Monday.

Btw, you still haven’t told us what you are taking delivery of. 😃

So what’s the storm reports? We are getting a good steady rain now. Expect it to stay around for a couple days. No flooding that I’ve heard of yet.

It has rained ALL day in Greensboro. Mostly pretty heavy with some pretty strong gusty winds too.

Cannot go to the beach anytime soon due to roads being flooded. There currently is NO way to get to Southport or Oak Island, and I hear that Wilmington is also cut off.

The NC coast is in pretty bad shape. As expected the flooding hit them hard. Portions of I-95 and I-40 were shut down due to flooding so you couldn't get into Wilmington or surrounding towns to help.

I saw a video shot from a helicopter showing the flooding in Wilmington and it looked rough.

Charlotte was hit or miss in terms of impact. In my part of the county we fared just fine. No power outages we had a ton of rain but our creeks didn't overflow. The southeast part of the county has more rain than us and many creeks and river basins overflow. A few neighborhoods have up to 2ft of water on the streets. My sister in laws family came to stay with us. They live in SE Charlotte and lost power at 4AM Sunday and still has not come back. I think at most 30k were without power in the county.

I know some dams up near the mountains were at risk of failing last night.

Connected Home Inc. - in Leland, NC, right outside of Wilmington. We got hit hard with flooding everywhere. Luckily our home, showroom, and warehouse were all somehow miraculously spared. Many others were not so lucky. Most of my crew evacuated, and now are not able to get back due to flooding on all roads back into the area. In several areas, the roads have completely collapsed. Power is still out in most areas as well.
