We just came from a good client's house that has Sonos, universal remotes, good audio in all areas, upgraded network, lighting control, security cameras, etc. He asked "What's new...what can I get that's cool?" and unfortunately, it was difficult to present anything that would be a neat addition. Anything you can think of for this type of client?

If you have a source for cool things such as the poker table that has the hidden booze compartment, film room doo-dads, wireless seat-shakers, etc., it would be helpful.

Thanks in advance!
See our Youtube page for info about smart homes, great audio and more.

Oprah has favorite things...So do I....Thankfully, mine are cheap....These are my two favorite things right now.  Dumb and cheap, but both cool in their own way.

Just installed these bad boys in my sons' rooms in their dresser counters...Friggin awesome and cheap.   I'm not a Droid guy, but if the phone will wirelessly charge, they'll work.  Compatible with IPhones 8 -X

Personally, I believe that these could be a pretty cool solution for a CI to offer to customers.  All you need is a hole saw and electrical outlet.  You could install these all over the house.  I could see a customer easily paying $100 to have these installed.

Are you using Occ sensors in the lighting system?
Clients love it when they can walk through a hallway or into a room and the lights automatically come on.

I was working by myself at a client’s home about 9:30 at night, trying to finish up before they got back in town. I walked down a dark hallway past a bathroom that had one of those, and I was just close enough to the door to trigger it. It started roaring and whooshing and I just about jumped out of my skin. I think I lost about two years off my life on that thing.
There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.
