radio paradise app - live or you can download hours of their music for later offline playback, I like most of what they play but you can skip a song/s forward at any time. The RP app actually now support lossless playback if you're into that.

Download for offline within their app or download to store on your phone and play with any app?

Playback within their phone app or tablet app, live stream or downloaded stream, either one. Download a stream at home and use it on the boat! It downloads a stream to the local device fast with a good internet connection. Android Auto supports it, I've been using that combo a lot lately.

So no, not local copy on my phone. No thanks. I am not looking for any service that limits me to using their app. I want to download the music, store on my phone, and playback from a number of different systems I have in my house.

Then he said it does it fast:

He doesn't say it has to play live through the app.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.
