lol. I got the email today from ice. Each pair shielded, looks like a real blast to deal with. Simple connector it says too lol. About 10 pieces to it looked like.

up to 40Gbps. Great, so now we have a cable that will support 4k, but 8k (48Gbps) TVs are being announced as we speak. SMH

That’s what I thought! That connector looks retarded and at the end of the day, fiber would be quicker.

Copper hardware these days seems to be cheaper. For instance Savant has  4K HDR copper solutions half the price of fiber.

I think best options these days is couple cat5e cat6a/8 and a fiber cable.
