Holly Hill, FL – August 14, 2018 –
Metra Home Theater Group® (MHTG) is pleased to announce it will sponsor an HDMI® Roundtable discussion featuring three top industry trainers from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday September 7th at its Booth # 1715 at the 2018 CEDIA Expo being held at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, CA.
Leading the Roundtable event are Andrew Turner, technical sales manager with Sony Electronics and Sony ES Home Premium, Philip Lamar Jones, director of training for the Americas at Sound United and Brent McCall, trainer and product developer for Metra Home Theater Group.
The open forum discussion will include topics covering real life problems, issues and solutions for HDMI® installations.

Will you post a video of the meeting on YouTube?

That is the current thought process.

OK, what are the chances of making a skinny HDMI cable that has one detachable end?

Asking for a friend.

No, seriously, I was called in to do some AV work after most of the construction was done and the electrician had installed a smurf tube from the cabinet to the TV, but it's only 1" and I'll likely need more than one HDMI, as well as at least one Category cable. Sparky didn't think to install a smurf tube from the mechanical room to the cabinet, though- just used Romex staples to secure the Cat5e and coax.

Question:  Does the convention hall allow torches and/or pitchforks?

Asking for a friend.

Celerity has that as long as you're ok with your shortest cable being 35 feet.
