Why is cream cheese not located with the other fine cheeses at the supermarket? Always by the cookie dough and crap. At least put it by the shredded cheeses and cheese sticks. It's such a good product.

Here in Australia, the cream cheese spread is always next to the other stuff you spread on toast like yummy Vegemite or peanut butter.

The firmer refrigerated stuff for making cheesecakes and such is in the dips section usually next to the solid cheeses. I'd suggest that it's in the cooking dough section might have something to do with the cheesecake thing.

That does not exist. Not in "yummy," anyway.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

I was in the states for a month earlier in the year and only found one American who didn't like Vegemite when prepared properly. That guy's tastes were very much towards kids food. He ate a lot of nuggets, chicken strips, hot dogs and other crap.
Everyone else was sneering before they tasted it, expecting it to be ghastly. They were pretty surprised that they liked it.
Try it on toast with butter or margarine and apply about a 1/4 teaspoon of Vegemite, making sure it mixes through the butter.
That's a proper first time Vegemite experience. It may look like Nutella (a bit), but it is not. If you apply it the same way, of course it will be horrible, likewise don't try it on it's own or without butter.

You would't drink fish sauce on it's own, yet it has a lot to offer when used correctly.

Depends on the grocer- the one I go to has it on the Great Wall Of Cheese (I'm in Wisconsin....) but they also have a higher-end cheese section with Bree, Camembert, etc.

I also think about that. Why do the production release convenient version.

You're correct re: Vegemite.
It's vastly superior to the likes of Marmite *shudder*

Isn't "cream cheese" what happens when you try to pass gas, and something else happens?

When I was young I had to go in for some test at the hospital and was told "No Dairy Products" before the appointment. I asked my mom to make me some scrambled eggs that morning and she refused because she claimed (falsely) that eggs were a dairy product. All because they're in the dairy section of the supermarket.
