If you're really worried about anchoring this thing, just chemset it and be done with it. Assuming you guys get Ramset over there.

I was thinking about using wedge anchors in combination with something like this:

Has to be the strongest way to do it.

Sleeves with lags into brick should work fine.
I’ve done large articulating brackets that way and hung off it fully extended in brick and I’m 220 lbs.

I'm not concerned about the 150 lbs. dead weight, it's the pull out torque due to the pull down that gives me pause.

We have to be concerned about the 150 lbs dead weight, because when that weight is not all snugged up against the wall, it pulls out on the mounts without you even moving it. Then, when you start to move it, the force you apply to start the motion is translated into more pullout force. Then, when you push up to move it back up, there's a lowering of pullout on the mounts, and if they are in any way loose, that change of load is like wiggling the mounts.

It's just more complicated than pullout or dead weight.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.
