As far as what happens IF Alexa support is pulled is that there is going to be support via google and Apple Siri. So unlike others that put their product squarely into one camp. Just like music services.
I sold some Sonos add on units today. During the discussion I mentioned that some are Voice capable and some are not. There was zero interest in Voice. (These are Millennials).
If you haven't noticed yet g007, only 'YOU' care about any of this. The overwhelming majority are perfectly happy with SONOS and will continue to be happy with SONOS, for the next several years to come. No one else has a problem with SONOS and likely will not for the next several years to come.
But keep digging... maybe you will find an ex-employee of SONOS that got busted for DUI or something. And maybe that might matter to someone?
[edit]: Oh yeah, I don't give a crap about stupid voice control. And most of my clients at this point in time, don't seem to either.
This is simply a commentary on a company and its products, it’s not about me!
Leave your personal attacks in you mind, they only degrade your rhetoric.
Now that this company is public they will be under the most scrutiny they have ever been under, Wall Street, and they are unforgiving! Our opinions matter little to the street. Deliver or get crushed!
