I have used Fiverr a few times over the years. Usually for stuff like voicemail greetings and photo to illustration services. Two days ago I found a "gig" with wat I was looking for. An artsy rendition of a photo. I liked the examples, emailed the "artist" to make sure the photo I had was acceptable and when they responded with "yes" I ordered the "gig".

I chose the $50 option plus $20 for two day expedited service. I immediately get a message telling me asking me what I wanted to do with the photo. After some confusing back and forth I put together a screenshot asking the guy whether or not he was going to provide me with what his gig listed. He goes nuts telling me that it would cost way more money and take more time. He went on to tell me how I was a jerk for expecting him to work for free etc.

Finally I decide to do a Google image search of his three examples...every one was from another website by a different artist. I point this out to the artists and Fiverr. Two days later I get a refund and my account is blocked.

So did I miss something here?

How about posting a screen shot of this image from where you found it done by someone else... and who is the woman? Is she the "guy" or is she the person who did the artwork you show? Confusing.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

It's a guy from Pakistan using the photo of a woman as his avatar. You can use Google images to search for the image. It's posted on 50 websites including the original artists site.

So it's a guy from Pakistan, using a woman's picture as his avatar, offering to do work that he's actually going to rip off from someone else, and arguing that you want him to do extra work for free when you ask him to do exactly what he was offering to do, that you agreed you would pay for and that, in fact, you paid for.

If I've got that right, that's just the internet. You were lucky to get a refund.

It's pretty amusing that he blocked your account. You should give him an accurate review using another account name, if that's possible.
