Folks, could use some input here. Have an Elan system (SC) with an MMS2A and I’m hitting a bump on iTunes integration. Client changed his email for his AppleID (successfully) and tried to enter new info on MMS2A and it kept failing. Autonomic suggested iTunesMatch and it seemed to be OK. However, I got a message last evening that playlist edits done in iTunes are not reflecting properly on Elan GUI (MMS2A). Anyone dealing with a similar scenario?

Ive never had any trouble with Autonomics syncing itunes. I cant ever recall having to put an account information in except back in the day when you needed authorization to play M4P files.

Supersync just synchronizes files. it doesnt care about the account.

I had this issue on an MMS2A. Ultimately, I had to wipe the content off the MMS and re-establish the link to iTunes on the Mac. After that it worked perfectly.

Thanks for the input, putting that one in my pocket! Comm is down between Elan and MMS, hoping that’s the problem.

“Apple ended DRM in 2009” pop up on site visit today, so yes- this was not necessary. Not too sure why I set the client up with iTunesMatch TBH either. Playlists managed through iTunes were tripled and quadrupled so TS and I wiped the MMS and started from scratch. Looked like it was going to be fine but came to find the exact same problem occurred. This was in the MMS direct so no fluke on Elan. Client also has Sonos in a few areas which handled the playlists perfectly. So, went to the truck and grabbed a Connect. Problem solved and Elan GUI is way smoother.
