A dealer friend of mine prewired a home for an eight cam surveillance system with siamese where at two locations he has power but the coax was damaged. No CAT wire at those locations and zero chance to get new wire there at this point. Before sending him the link below I found with a possible solution, it would be good to know if anyone has experience with this or a similar lifesaver. TIA [Link: fmsystems-inc.com]

Test continuity in the coax using one of the power cables as the return way. Maybe just the core or just the shield is broken. The camera’s shield are usually tied with the 12v negative so technically you need 3 conductors. Video positive , power positive and video/power negative. We bumped into similar situations before and sometimes we got lucky
