Pricing a job for a customer who is moving to a new time clock system using Ipads. These need to be surface mounted and locked so that staff don't try to steal the IPad. Also, I don't want swivel or tilt features. I've looked at this guy and it looks ok.

Have you used any other product with success? Also, will need to charge this thing and run the lightning cable inside the wall. The plug could be 20 or 30 feet away. Is there anything out there that long?

I use the iPort surface mount all the time for residential.  It's sturdy (made out of aluminum) and would be difficult to remove.  Has options to power over CAT5 & PoE: [Link: iportproducts.com]

use the iDocX and am very satisfied. It is not a surface mount. There is a container that goes in the all so the part above the wall is just the bezel. The container is thinner that standard wallboard so it can be placed anywhere on a wallboard wall without concern for stud locations
