Can you elaborate? I thought by default this system would use a POE splitter

The decoders are basically a RPi with different software. They have a micro-USB (like almost all Android phones/tablets) connection for power and a standard ethernet port (not POE).

With the POE splitter, like this one, [Link: amazon.com]

I can use any standard POE switch, that I usually have on a UPS, so power fluctuations, etc. are held at bay.

So JAP does not push 4K 60HZ 4/4/4 HDR10? Using a couple OLED's in this setup and don't want to compromise picture quality.

Then HDMI-over-IP is not the way to go.
